I have no pacience to see the photos one by one on style.com so these videos are so my salvation plus I can really feel the mood of the show by listening to the music and the comantaries. So my vision is more clear about what I am going to shop/wear in the next seasons.

"If I see another minimalistic show I would die"
I have no pacience to see the photos one by one on style.com so these videos are so my salvation plus I can really feel the mood of the show by listening to the music and the comantaries. So my vision is more clear about what I am going to shop/wear in the next seasons.

Marc Jacobs ( I want it all)
I have to say Marc takes the cake every time , the collection was a little bit 1920´s influenced and the models kind of had a look about them that reminded me of Carey Muligan (from An Education). Maybe, whats on his mind is the remake of The Great Gatsby? Just might be ...
On the whole, the runway presentation was like a big walking wish list. Those dresses with the transparency mixed with the vichy print so it was actually a little Brigitte Bardot mixed with 1920´s flappers and those it girls from the 20´s like Clara Bow. It got pretty decadent towards the end where you would see lots of embroidery with beading. The color scheme varied from neutrals like nudes, navys , grays , and other shades of blue to yellows , blush tones , and minty greens. And lets not mention the details and accessories , ah they deserve their own post . (but I have to say the stilleto mary janes are too wonderful for words!)

WHAT???????????????????????????????
JUST READ THIS ON STYLE.COM
"Marc Jacobs is at the center of one of the biggest fashion stories in years. His prolonged negotiations to assume the design mantle previously held by John Galliano at Christan Dior have been making headlines for weeks. If and when he signs on the dotted line, Jacobs will become a couturier, fashion's fastest-dwindling subspecies."
Marc Jacobs at Dior? Is this some kind of Ultimate Fashion Dream or something?
I HAVE to quote Bryan Boy :

3.1 Phillip Lim Spring 2012 Ready-to-Wear
![]() |
| omg is that Kate Lanphear I see? ( yes!) so glad the fringe trend is still going strong I´ll definetly bring out my beaded Bebe fringe bag out of the closet this season |
![]() |
| the heels this next spring season not too high (thank goodness!) |
and yellow continous to be a trend! thank goodness that Clairborne bag of mine will get more mileage!
In all the Phillip Lim show had a few highlights but no tremendous surprises the mavericks on the town will probably enjoy the collection with its tye dye(sp?) and cut outs. Wish the show had some more colorful pieces.

"it's the proportions that make them new,"
Jenna Lyons and the head of women's design, Marissa Webb, have a formula, and there was no rejiggering of it under the bright lights of Lincoln Center. Color and classic tailoring are still the big stories; "it's the proportions that make them new," said Webb. The cashmere sweaters, for example, are looser, more slouchy for Spring, while the pencil skirts are narrower and graze the shins. Another skirt in multicolored sequin stripes was even longer—"it's almost a dorky, nerdy length," Webb said, "but it feels sexier than a mini now." The skirt was paired with a dark denim shirt, a look that Lyons and co. patented. There weren't necessarily any big new ideas like that in this collection, but that doesn't mean it didn't connect with the crowd. We'll still be seeing these clothes in multiples next season.

photos style.com"we spotted a very influential French editor wearing an army green Henley tee from the brand in the front row at the shows yesterday. We knew it was J.Crew because we considered buying one ourselves."

I cant help but find the show inspirational to my every day life I can realy imageine editing these looks and wearing them out and about my self.

Spring 2012 Ready-to-Wear Jeremy Scott
Jeremy Scotts latest presentation at new york fashion week a little Cowboys & Aliens and Lolita infusion , very much the kind of clothes for that sexy girl who loves a good party on a saturday nigh.t Funky, with a little dash of humurous sex appeal ... I´m thinking very very Katy Perry most likely to see her strutting her stuff in of these or maybe long time no see model Agyness Dein (I miss her!) or NYLON´S Cory Kennedy and Peaches Geldorf.
